About me

Before moving to Amsterdam, I worked as a therapist in the San Francisco Bay Area for fifteen years. I received my Masters in Social Work from Simmons College School of Social Work and my Bachelor of Arts from Bates College.

In my private practice, I treat expats adjusting to life in a foreign culture with a focus on problems in relationship, depression, stress and anxiety symptoms to trauma survivors, work/life balance, divorce and separation as well as grief and loss.

Across all of these specialties, I work closely with people striving to actualize positive changes in their lives. My approach is client-centered, relational and solution-focused with a foundation in depth work so that positive change may be attained in an integrated and sustained way
